Dead-End Silicon Carbide Micro-Filters for Liquid Filtration

Cross-Flow FilterA new type of silicon carbide dead-end filter element has been developed, and it consists of a honeycomb carrier structure made from silicon carbide powder. 

 

This paper was written and presented by one of the authors, Abhaya Bakshi of Saint-Gobain, at the recent 37th International Conference on Advanced Ceramics & Composites in Daytona, Florida.
